appeared
live on The Mitch Albom Show on
WJR 7.60 AM on the ABC Radio Networks. Friday October 4 in Detroit.
September 2002:
THE PROCESS®
appeared live on WKQZ 93.3 Z-93 Friday
September 13th. Singer David Asher and Guitarist Garrick Owen performed
an acoustic version of THE PROCESS® classic "JAH MADE THE HERB" and were
interviewed on the "Joe and Poor Boy Show".
Saturday September 14th
THE PROCESS® performed at the 9th
annual Salt River Acres Rock and Reggae Bash. The following day the band
performed at soul legend Isaac Hayes club in Chicago.

The album was produced by THE PROCESS® and GEE PIERCE (MC Breed, Dayton
Family) and was mastered by 2001 GRAMMY AWARD Nominated producer DAVE

THE PROCESS® has received 2 nominations in the
2002 Bay Area Review Music Awards! The band was nominated
"Best Original Group"
and
"Best Group Video"!
The awards was be held Monday May 6th at Hollywood Nights Night
Club in Saginaw! The new PROCESS® video "PIGMAN THE MOVIE" was
shown at the awards.
JANUARY 2002: THE PROCESS® has just joined
forces with world-class drummer
Gabe (Gonzo) Gonzalez. Gabe has worked with George Clinton and the
P-Funk
Allstars, the legendary punk group Bad Brains w/ HR, and
the Red Hot Chili
Peppers. Gabe is a veteran of Bernie Worrells' "Woo Warriors"
and is known
for his pioneering work as band leader for Detroit's Enemy Squad.
Gabe is a powerhouse drummer and his driving fusion of styles is a
welcome
addition to THE PROCESS® arsenal!
OCTOBER 2001: PROCESS® vocalist David Asher performs 3 songs on the
forthcoming soundtrack to the motion picture
"ROCKETS RED GLARE", due to
be released soon!

AUGUST 2001: THE PROCESS® has just released "Paraphernailia Vol I", a
compilation of recordings from it's first three releases. The CD is a
great
sampler of early PROCESS® music

AUGUST 2001: THE PROCESS® has just re-mastered and re-released its 1999
CD
"LIVE IN LOS ANGELES". The new release features three new tracks
recorded
live on KXLU in L.A., Monday, June 18th, 2001!! The CD has a much
better
sound than the original release, and the new tracks rock. Check it out!!
Also while in L.A., THE PROCESS® performed showcases on Sunset Strip, as
well as its blistering live performance in KXLU!
JUNE 2001: THE PROCESS® songwriters David Asher and Garrick Owen
received
2001/2002 ASCAP Special Awards. The American Society of
Composers, Authors
and Publishers granted cash and recognition to both.
May 2001: THE PROCESS® was featured in
ASCAP's 'Playback Magazine' in an article by Editor-in-Chief Eric
Philbrook.
JUNE 2001: THE PROCESS® performed with Yngwie Malmsteen at
Harpo's, in
Detroit last summer. THE PROCESS® had a good time hanging out
with Yngwie
and his band before the show.
MAY 2001:THE PROCESS® video for it's song "Beggar" was just named "Best
Group Video" in the 2001 BAY AREA REVIEW MUSIC AWARDS! Singer
David Asher accepted the award Monday April 23rd at Hollywood Nights
Club in Saginaw.
APRIL 2001: THE PROCESS® received four nominations in the 2001 DETROIT
MUSIC
AWARDS!! Nominations included 'Outstanding World Recording';
"Paraphernalia Vol. I", 'Outstanding Reggae Artist/Group', 'Outstanding
World Vocalist' and 'Outstanding World Songwriter'.
JULY 2000: HIGH TIMES MAGAZINE selected "Jah Made the Herb" by
THE PROCESS® to be named to its 25th Anniversary Pot-25 Chart. The song
rose to #4 on
the MP3.com International Reggae Charts.

JUNE 2000: Channel 28 WFUM television featured THE PROCESS® in concert
in
its "After-Hours Magazine" program in 2000/2001.The program was repeated
several times due to public demand!
OCTOBER 1999:"Craven Dog" has been receiving airplay on John Freecheck's
"Illegal Exposure" show on WHTN 88.1 FM in Chicago. The CD was played in
its entirety in '99 on Radio Carusco Booy FM, the national station of
the
island of Aruba in the Carribean.
MAY 1999: THE PROCESS® along with 22 other Michigan bands salute fellow
Michigan boy, Iggy Pop on
Static Records CD "Pop OD, The Songs of Iggy
Pop". The CD was voted 'Best Compilation' in the 1999 DETROIT MUSIC
AWARDS.
THE PROCESS® performed the Iggy classic "Endless Sea".

JANUARY 1999: WQTV Channel 19 public tv "Artworks" program profiled THE
PROCESS® recently. The program included live footage of the band and an
interview with singer David Asher. Asher's 12-part radio show "Ball
of
Fire" aired in 1999 on WUCX 90.1 FM. THE PROCESS® performed the
"Ball of
Fire" theme for the World Music Series.
SEPTEMBER 1998: "Jah Made the Herb" was selected to be included on the
1998
Detroit Musicians Alliance compilation "Motor CD". DJ Peter Werbe from
Detroit's WRIF featured the song on his "Motor Riffs" program.

JULY 1998: THE PROCESS® has retained counsel of the prestigious law firm
JACOBSON & COLFIN P.C.. THE FIRM
represents artists including Mick Taylor
(Rolling Stones), Jefferson Starship, Johnny Winter, reggae superstars
Inner Circle, Andrew Tosh, Sly & Robbie and many other artists who are
legends.

JUNE "96 THE PROCESS® releases it's most
acclaimed work to date, the rock-reggae classic "CRAVEN DOG'.

OCTOBER '95:THE PROCESS® guitarist Garrick Owen was featured in the
international trade "GUITAR PLAYER'" Magazine, in the Oct. '95
'Lick-of-the-Month" section. Garrick recently sat in and played "Billion
Dollar Babies" during a performance of the Michael Bruce Band at the
Russelville Ballroom. Michael wrote many of Alice Cooper's hit-songs,
including 'Under My Wheels', 'Be My Lover', 'Elected' and more. Garrick
said, "It was a great honor and a thrill to play with one of the great
guitarists that inspired me to play, as a kid".

FALL "94THE PROCESS® releases the remix album
"DUB INSTRUCTOR". THE PROCESS® is featured on the cover of the Detroit
music music magazine Jam Rag.
SPRING "93 THE PROCESS® appears live at the
Annual ANN ARBOR HASH BASH. A police escort leads the crowds of
thousands through the streets of Ann Arbor to the stage where THE
PROCESS® is performing. Footage of the band is shown world-wide on CNN.

SUMMER "92 THE PROCESS® releases it's 2nd self
produced album, "BALDHEAD VEX". The band performs live at the 6th annual
Review Magazine Awards. THE PROCESS® also performs live on WFBE 95.1 FM
in Flint and is featured in a Saginaw News cover feature.

FALL "91 THE PROCESS® releases it's first
album, "MYSTERY BABYLON". The band continues to perform at venues
throughout Michigan, joined by drummer Arek Aneszko and bassist Bill
Heffelfinger. THE PROCESS® appears on the cover of Review Magazine.
FALL "89-SPRING "91 THE PROCESS® forms around
the original material of vocalist David Asher and Guitarist Garrick
Owen. Several rhythm sections flow in and out of the group as the
Asher/Owen team continues to showcase it's original music, a fusion of
rock and reggae. The group performs many gigs in the next year in the
Detroit/Flint area.
